WELCOME

I'm a creative writer and filmmaker. I explore themes that illustrate the imperfect human behavior and the trials and tribulations that come into our life. As much as I appreciate long form narrative, I'm obsessed with short-story telling. As a creative writer, I don't just write fiction but I write essays and poetry too. The authors that influence my work are Ottessa Moshfegh, Joyce Carol Oats and Miranda July. I'm attracted to imperfect protagonists, experimental story structure, and weird and outlandish story concepts. As a filmmaker, the artists that influence my work are Jane Campion, Sean Baker and Aaron Sorkin. This combination is the perfect blend of figurative language, the study of human behavior and organic dialog. I gravitate towards character-driven/slice of life stories.
